Forth Valley Sensory Centre (FVSC) is a hub for people with a visual or hearing loss and where friends, families, carers, and the wider community can access quality services and advice from partner organisations. The Centre was the first of its kind constructed in the UK and specifically developed for the sensory impaired community. 

The Centre provides an array of bespoke services, moulded by end users and their requests of what is most important to them. From digital support to meeting spaces, sensory garden, café as well as over 30 groups and classes and more- there is never one day the same. 

The Role 

This is an exciting time at Forth Valley Sensory Centre as they embark on a growth strategy following an award from The National Lottery. Coupled with this new opportunity, there is also the recruitment for a Business Development Manager, where both positions will shape and influence the future direction. 

As the Operations Manager for the centre, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, Line Managing, supporting and developing a young and dynamic team to ensure a quality experience for end users. You will also be integral to implementing and delivering key objectives and the FVSC Strategy. 

The incoming Operations Manager should have experience of leading a team, showcasing great interpersonal skills to a wide audience, be an effective problem solver whilst also demonstrating excellent communication methods.
