About us.

BTA is a one-stop shop that cares deeply about the charity sector in Scotland and throughout the UK. Our mission is to help charities with expert consultancy and recruitment services that allow them to grow, work with great people and be more successful. We're the market leader in Scotland and one of the biggest agencies of our kind in the UK.

BTA has one purpose. To help charities - and the people who work for them - fulfil their potential and be successful. We can do that because we’re an unrivalled one-stop shop for charity consultancy and recruitment. BTA is run by former charity leaders who know what the sector needs because we've been there and done it ourselves.
To help charities grow and be more successful, we provide expert consultants and recruit great people. Our huge experience, our passion for the third sector in Scotland and the UK, our database of over 14,000 potential candidates and our networks are the best in the business.

We love what we do and know exactly what it takes. We’ve been there, done it, worn the charity T-shirts. We live and work by a set of values that shape who we are and what we do.

BTA's Chief Executive Bruce Tait is highly-qualified and respected, with many years of charity leadership experience.  Our Associates and consultants are all experts in their fields. Our recruitment services are provided by people who know what they're talking about and really care about the charities and candidates they're working with.

Every year, our consultancy helps and guides about 100 charities every year - and we recruit for around 100 vacancies in the third sector, from fundraisers to chief executives.

We’d love to hear from you. Our service starts with a friendly chat - so call us now on 01786 542224.
