BTA are to team up with Peter Caithness - one of the country’s most experienced recruiters. Peter, whose proven track record is well known in Scotland’s voluntary sector, will join BTA in a senior position as its new Director of Executive Search.
This key role will be operational and strategic, utilising his excellent skills as a recruiter in both the voluntary and public sectors while supporting the ongoing growth and development of BTA. The agency is an unrivalled one-stop shop for charity recruitment and consultancy - helping hundreds of organisations each year by providing expert support, advice and analysis.

Peter, whose expert knowledge of higher education recruitment will also be a valuable asset to BTA, has more than 35 years experience of sourcing and introducing talented people across many sectors. He was the founder of Caithness Consulting, which is based in Dundee and specialises in high-end search and selection in the third and public sectors.
Peter had previously spent over 20 years working across many sectors, recruiting senior-level candidates on behalf of major national and global organisations in such areas as general industry and commerce, construction, oil and gas, health and law.
