Chief Executive.Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Falkirk (with some home working)
Closing Date: Midnight, Sunday 8th September 2019
Falkirk Football Community Foundation is looking for a visionary and ambitious Chief Executive to lead it into the future and deliver on its business plan which shows an expansion in partnerships, projects, programmes and beneficiaries.
The charity has enjoyed significant growth and development over the past 4 years but sees many opportunities to grow further. A key challenge will be to secure the income required to deliver on all the charity’s goals.
The Board of Trustees is looking for an exceptional individual to provide the leadership required to drive the charity forward to success. As well as ensuring the organisation meets its charitable objectives and is fully complaint with its legal obligations, the next Chief Executive will need to be a highly experienced project and people manager, strategic as well as operational, have excellent commercial and business acumen as well as superb negotiating, influencing and stakeholder management skills. While not essential, an interest in football and experience of running a third sector organisation is an advantage. Candidates who come from the private or public sector are welcomed provided they meet the essential criteria. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to close engagement with the club’s fans and the surrounding community.
This is a rare opportunity to assume the helm of a charity which is really going places. It has a strong track record behind it, is on a growth trajectory and, potentially, has a major investor about to assume ownership of the affiliated football club. The potential is endless.
