Full Description

Huntington’s disease is cruel and has a devastating impact on sufferers and their families. 1 in 5000 of us will be affected by this incurable, genetic disorder which systematically damages the nerve cells of the brain.

The friendly team of staff at Scottish Huntington’s Association are dedicated to making sure their needs are met. With no cure in sight, their efforts are focused on transforming care for HD affected families so that everyone gets the right support at the right time and in the right way.

If you are a grants and trusts fundraiser, you can play a part in providing this critical support to those affected. To be considered for this role you will need to have previous experience in this discipline, having secured 4 and 5 figure grants. You will need to be practised at researching potential funders to ensure no opportunities are missed. You will play a significant role in helping the Fundraising Team reach the shared trusts and grants goal of £182,000 per annum.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a hard-working team with a tremendously open and honest culture committed to supporting each other. You will be able to work on your own initiative and be supported by good statistics and figures to enable you to craft compelling applications. This role offers a flexible working environment and the guidance of an approachable and understanding Fundraising Manager.
