SCAA makes a difference. SCAA save lives. Flying 365 days per year and working in partnership with the Scottish Ambulance Service, the incredible SCAA helps save lives when time is critical and seconds can make a difference in terms of survival and early recovery.
This role will play an important part in further developing the charity and growing its annual income. Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and Communications, you will be a key player in the implementation of an exciting and ambitious marketing and communications strategy.
The charity has one helicopter based at Perth Airport and is at a crucial point in its fundraising for a second aircraft to be based in Aberdeen. This involves a capital appeal of £6 million. The good news is SCAA is already half way there .This role will help the charity secure the rest by raising its profile, engaging with key audiences and building a new army of supporters.
You will be responsible for creating and delivering a digital marketing strategy for the charity . You will also use your skills to manage the website effectively, utilising SEO and Google analytics. You will have excellent verbal and written communication ability including experience of writing engaging copy and content. Ideally, you’ll have experience of writing press releases and managing media events.
