Established in 1870, VSA helps thousands of the most vulnerable people and their families living in communities across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Today, VSA provides vital support and services to people of all ages across four core areas - Children and Families, Adult and Community, Education and Learning, and Carers’ Support. VSA supports a person’s physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing through a range of residential and outreach support services.

The Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser will be responsible for researching and identifying opportunities for VSA, and for writing compelling funding applications to a variety of Trusts, Foundations and other relevant grant givers.
You will be a gifted communicator with a knowledge of the grant giving sector and a real talent for writing funding proposals. An active listener able to absorb the work of the organisation and create compelling cases for support for a variety of audiences through a variety of channels. You will be able to support the wider staff team to bring their projects to life on paper in a compelling way to the appropriate funding sources.
If you have a minimum of two years experience securing funding from Trusts and Foundations, excellent communication skills and a real passion for delivering exceptional content to deadlines then this is your chance to join something special.
