Would you like to make a difference to the lives of the elderly and vulnerable as a Board member? Your leadership, care or HR expertise could positively affect the lives of so many of the people who are supported by LifeCare.
LifeCare is a charity and social enterprise based in Edinburgh which supports and empowers older people, particularly those affected by dementia, poor mobility, loneliness and many other conditions to live life to the full.

At the heart of the LifeCare community is its centre in Stockbridge which supports over 60,000 visitors per year, where they enjoy clubs and activities along with a thriving community café providing home cooked food daily. It also has 3 day clubs across Edinburgh and provides outreach through its Care at Home service – all of the services are highly rated by the Care Inspectorate and deeply appreciated by clients and families alike. ‘The Dean Club is a lifesaver for her and for Tom.’
LifeCare is looking for several Trustees with care skills to continue its success and improve the lives of everyone whom it touches. The new Trustees should have leadership or technical experience of the care sector. Specifically, you should have knowledge and understanding of care for the elderly, older people, dementia, carers, government care policy, service delivery and assessment. One Trustee is being sought with HR skills.
