Two Great Value "Practical" Fundraising Training Days from Bruce Tait Associates

Following our highly successful "Essential Fundraising Training" programme, we are delighted to launch the first of our "Practical Fundraising Training" events for charities in Scotland.

This is a long way from "chalk and talk" training! Each day will allow participants to bring a solution or opportunity from their own work with them, develop that work "live" with our trainers, and leave with the resources to tackle the issue in hand. You can't get much more practical than that!

Practical Fundraising Strategy - Date: 2nd March 2012

Presented by Bruce Tait, this training day will enable small and developing organisations to look at how to create, develop or evaluate their own fundraising strategy to maximise its potential.

This unique programme allows you to bring your own strategy (or one you are working on) and will take you through the fundraising strategy process, step by step. During the day you will develop a Case for Support, undertake an Audit of your Fundraising, explore and choose the main sources of funding, and set targets for income expenditure for your fundraising activity.

You may not emerge with a fully fleshed out strategy, but you will hold in your hand the best possible blueprint for its creation, and for your organisation's fundraising success!

This full-day training session, including lunch and refreshments, costs only £129 (plus VAT) per participant, but is limited to a maximum of 30 spaces and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Practical Pitching - Date: 26th March 2012

Presented by Fundraiser, Bruce Tait and Sales Trainer, Mavy Williamson, this training day will benefit anyone who has to ask for money face to face. Whether a meeting with a Trust Assessor, a pitch for Charity of the Year, a negotiation for a service agreement or simply rattling a can in the street, this session will help you plan, prepare, pitch and succeed.

Forget about being stuck in a lift! Elevator pitches almost never happen in fundraising. These secret is to plan ahead and this unique programme allows you to bring your own "ask" opportunity along and work through it with the trainers as a live example, allowing you to create a practical pitch plan for a real presentation. Or if you don't have an ask looming you'll get plenty of opportunity to prepare ahead and to learn to pitch with confidence.
